My daughter and I chose Rowleys after considering all others.We are so glad we did.They were extremely kind at a very upsetting time for us.Everything went according to our wishes,very efficient and professional at all times.I have already recommended Rowleys to some of my customers when I returned to work. About Us
Rowley and Sons is a family run independent funeral service, owned and run by Martin and Elizabeth Rowley, based in Lawrence Street, York. They provide a friendly, caring and professional service for bereaved families in the surrounding area.
They can provide a range of different funerals from traditional church services to completely non-religious celebrations of life, and offer cremation, burial, or green burial options. Rowley and Sons are able to advise on all aspects of your loved one’s funeral and make all the necessary arrangements on your behalf, offering a ‘one stop’ service.
Their York funeral home has a chapel of rest which is available at any time, including evenings and weekends (by arrangement). They can arrange a selection of beautifully-made coffins to suit any type of funeral service, from solid oak and veneered options to eco-friendly coffins such as cardboard, wicker, bamboo and banana leaf. Funeral transport is also covered with a range of hearses and limousines.
