very professional nothing was to much trouble. my mum looked lovely when i visited her in the chapel and Kevin took the service and wrote a beautiful poem about my mum just as if he knew her .would highly recommend his sevices

Professional, discreet, polite, courteous, and above all compassionate.

Nothing was too much trouble, no matter what time of day or night I asked for advice and support, Kevin was on hand.

My father's service was organised within 8 days, and was PERFECT.

Kevin and his team are so caring to the deceased and the family thats sorting the funeral out.

Kevin and his team made this very hard time bearable .From the first point of contact to the very last . His professionalism and attention to detail were second to none and the respect he showed my dad was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We booked Kevin because his reviews where so lovely to read and we are so glad we did. He was brilliant from the beginning. Helpful, supportive and friendly. Everything was done prompt and professorially but with compassion throughout.
Kevin went above and beyond. It was nice to be updated in regards to our dad and was lovely to see how well he was looked after. We cannot thank him enough and his staff on the day. We will definitely not hesitate to recommend Kevin.

Kevin, his wife and team provided a friendly, compassionate and personal service. He took the time to understand our needs and organised everything required which allowed us to concentrate on more personal issues.  Nothing was too much trouble and it was a comfort to know he was available at any time to help us.  I would not hesitate to recommend him.

There are now 3 Funeral Directors within 100 yards of each other near where I live in Scarborough, one National (Co-op), one local with 3 branches and one independent, Kevin Moxon. A quick internet check showed that we should start with the independent and first impressions made that choice the obvious one. Kevin could not have been more genuinely welcoming and reassuring. He gave us complete confidence that he would do his very best to look after not only my late wife but would also take as much pressure away from the family as possible. There was absolutely no attempt to sell any particular funeral plan, the choice was entirely ours. Everything was organised to perfection from the outset, including sourcing the (wicker) coffin we wanted. All details were fully discussed and agreed with us and everyone else who would be involved at the crematorium and at the church. Every part of the ceremonies was timed to perfection, including my wife's reception into church the evening before her funeral and the cars to and from the crematorium. It is quite clear that Kevin and his wife Jane, together with their small team, have a justifiable pride in their truly independent business where 'customer service' is the main aim, not maximising profit.

Kevin took the greates care of the whole family. Everything was a very dignified process and there was great consideration towards the wellbeing and wishes of all concerned. This was a well organised and caring funeral.i
All costs clearly stated from the beginning through to the final invoice, very reasonable too.
I wish I could give this review six stars.

Kevin dealt with my dad’s funeral earlier this year and he couldn’t have done any more. As an individual he is kind, considerate, professional and smart and his attention to detail in all aspects was second to none. His company are an independent funeral directors and the personal, caring and considerate service received, that a large corporate funeral directors had failed to deliver, was outstanding throughout. Thank you Kevin for your exceptional service at such a sad and distressing time for our family. You relieved a lot of stress and worry as we knew the arrangements were in good hands. I would highly recommend Kevin and his company.

The family would like to thank Kevin and his team for giving dad a special send off and for being very sensitive at a difficult time. They dealt with the complications of dad dying away from home and were generous with their time in ensuring that the service went well, with as much family involvement as was wanted on the day.
There are several musicians in the team which helped the recorded and live music run smoothly with minimal stress.
Kevin also conducted the service with appropriate humour and sensitivity.
It was a premium, friendly, personal service and the rates were very reasonable.
