If there is such a thing as a perfect Funeral, then this was it. Kevin and his team did our family proud conducting my mums funeral. I just left everything to him and he sorted it all out. He spoke at the funeral as if he had known my mum for years finding out the smallest detail of her amazing life and giving a wonderful tribute to her. Nothing was too much trouble when we met him to discuss what we would like for mums funeral. A true Gentleman and  a pleasure to meet. Thank you Kevin and all of your team. I would and will recommend you to any of my friends and people I know wanting a funeral arranged at a very reasonable cost with no compromise in service and delivery. Thank You.

Kevin and his team are totally professional.  Both the funerals they recently arranged for us were done with such kindness, care, attention to detail they cannot be improved on. From the first consultation to the days of the funerals
Kevin Moxon's service was flawless.
One funeral was a traditional Christian funeral with Church service and burial and the other a Jewish service where the deceased had to be moved to another town for rituals to preformed and then a third town for burial.
Neither funeral was a problem for Kevin and his team and where there was problems of logistics and different faith rituals they solved them.
I can't thank Kevin and his team enough they took two very stressful days and made it so we could concentrate on burying our loved ones and coming together as families in peace. 
Unbelievably with all this personal care and attention to detail they were lower cost as well.

I can't recommend Kevin Moxon Funeral Directors highly enough. Kevin and Debbie treat you with kindness, care and respect. They blend professionalism with warmth and are exactly the sort of people you would want to meet at such a time. My mum had requested an unattended Direct Cremation and I felt assured that she was treated with the same dignity and respect as if family had been present. The transparency of their prices clearly indicated on their website is very helpful. I am very pleased to have chosen these funeral directors.

Kevin was very helpful caring and sensitive towards all the family. He explained all arrangements fully and gave us invaluable advise. He took care of everything that was needed with the wishes of the family paramount. He also arranged for Una Faithfull, professional independent celebrant, who conducted a beautiful service.
All this at very reasonable rates. We as a family cannot thank Una, Kevin and his staff enough and will gladly recommend his services.

Absolutely marvellous .Nothing was too much trouble and Kevin sorted out everything service crematorium funeral reception etc
Mum had written a detailed letter of everything that she wanted and Kevin followed it to the letter.
They were exceptionally proffesional and extremely kind and very knowledgeable of how to do everything such as registering Mums death.
We would certainly reccomend Kevin to everyone in Scarborough

We cant thank you enough for making an extremely difficult day run so smoothly.

As I was looking for a funeral director in Scarborough for my brother's funeral and all the family lived in Sheffield didn't think it was going to be an easy task. Looked at Kevin's reviews and just had a good feeling that this was the right choice. He was the first one l called and as I spoke to Kevin my mind was made up. So pleased that Kevin was our choice. Everything was so easy to sort out and Kevin was described by a family member as probably the nicest human being she has met. I would recommend Kevin's business without hesitation. Faced to deal with an unexpected bereavement we saw online Kevin's transparent pricing policy, something other funeral directors do not do.
We gave Kevin a call and were not disappointed, what a lovely man. Kevin listened and advised us from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. For a polite, professional, compassionate service i would highly recommend anyone to give Kevin Moxon a call and see for yourself.

Kevin went out of his way to give a very dignified and elegant service. He kept all costs to a minimum but supplied quality services. Along with Una Faithfull who did the eulogy the very best was made out of a sad occasion. I had no hesitation in using Kevin as funeral director following my Mothers sad death. His website is fantastic and much less "death orientated" than other sites, which I personally found was a bit of brightness at a very dark time. On meeting Kevin I knew he was the right choice, he is kind, helpful and wants to do everything he possibly can to make things as easy as possible. He treats everybody with respect and makes you feel so at ease. He talks you through everything at your pace, no rushing and no question is too much for him to answer.
We went for the simple funeral package as that was what my Mother wanted and like most people the cost was also important. Kevin was amazing and if he can he will include little but important touches, like putting some of my Mothers favourite perfume on for her, which I couldn't do. My Mam loved driving along the sea front, so Kevin took her on her final journey along the front and round Marine Drive, which I know she would have loved and made a sad day a little less dark. It is the little things that can make a difference and Kevin does those things for you.
He kept in touch with us throughout the whole process, making sure we were ok not just regards the arrangements but also personally. He is a very caring man that wants the best for the person who has died and also those left behind. When the day arrived he and his staff could not do enough for us, the silk floral arrangement he put on the coffin was fantastic, you would never know they are not real and he provided that for us with no charge, this meant a lot as my Mam did not want money wasted on flowers that only die, she was always thrifty and instead we gave money to St Catherine's to help provide for others, which is what she wanted.
I honestly cannot find enough kind words about Kevin or his staff and the service he provides. There is a reason someone has all 5 star reviews and that speaks volumes in itself.
Emma and I cannot thank you and your staff enough for everything you did for us, you are a star and a real credit to your profession!

I have to say that my family had used another funeral director for many many years. I phoned them after the sudden death of my sister, they were as polite as always and were happy to do business with me. However, their pricing structure seemed to be a big secret and it took more than one call to find out what the actual cost was going to be.
After talking to a friend of mine who highly recommended Kevin Moxon, I phoned to talk to Kevin, who gave me a transparent pricing policy, not only that, as my sister had passed suddenly there were many things we just were not prepared for. However, Kevin was. His help and advice (which was given free, before we had chosen to use him) was a great help and comfort.
We immediately decided that it was time for a change and asked Kevin to look after Denise.
I am very impressed by the professional and compassionate service. Kevin is a genuinely nice man. Exactly what you need during what is probably one of the worst times in your life. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend. Don’t just take my word for it, give him a call and see for yourself, you have nothing to lose and peace of mind to gain.
Thank you for a fantastic service, which I can honestly say has not stopped just because the funeral is over. I will pop in soon.
