Service includes:

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

i have just used heatheringtons funerals in normanby who are owned by the co op .i can honestly say that they made it so easy and dignified abbi and mathew went beyond the pale to make the passing and funeral of my wife so lovingly handled in my time of grief .the 5 star rating isnt nearly enough to describe there commitment.i could recommend them in the highest order. ian waller

The guidance and support given by the staff at Hetheringtons was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated it. The funeral went really smoothly and several people commented how lovely the service was. All the staff were first class.
