Irene, Liam and his team contacted me after hearing of the news that my uncle had died. The funeral plan had been compiled with my uncle and they were in receipt of his wishes. Liam arranged a suitable time to meet with me in accordance with the restrictions at the time. Himself and a colleague came to my house to discuss the plans and service. Due to my uncle living in England we had to coordinate a repatriation to Scotland which Liam took care of from start to finish, I was told that my uncle would be looked after at a parlour until his funeral done weeks later. With all the information about: order of service, online service, online obituary, funeral car, flowers, songs, photographs, poem, celebrants, attendees and travel, a time and date was set. Having never dealt with arranging a funeral I was dreading the formalities but Liam was amazing. Kind, compassionate, understanding and patient, nothing was too much of an ask or inconvenience. I would message or email random questions and either himself or Irene would respond promptly. On the day of the funeral everything went smoothly and as nice as you could hope for. The professionalism and genuine care shown was very sincere. Afterwards, I was reassured that everything was in order and we bid goodbye. Thank you Mitchell's funeral directors. Fiona

From start to finish the service of David and his team was excellent. They gave us so much more than I expected to get arranging a funeral during Covid. They gave us such a personal touch which helped all the family say our final goodbyes to our lovely Dad. Thanks so much for everything, especially looking after my late Father and the lovely approach you gave to the family.

Thank you for the stress you and your family took off of me and my partner at such an unexpected tragic time for us. Ryan's horse an carriage cortege funeral was absoulety beautiful.
