South Lanarkshire Crematorium

About Us

Located in Blantyre, on the south side of the A725, South Lanarkshire Crematorium has superb views over the Clyde Valley and sits nestled in a quiet, rural environment.

A service held at South Lanarkshire Crematorium can benefit from a fully-accessible and modern chapel which has been tastefully decorated in neutral colours. Large windows allow light to flood in.

The Gardens of Remembrance contain a wide variety of memorial options, such as a tree and, family lair with plaque. The Sanctum wall holds vaults for urns, and an engraved plaque covering. The gardens are open to visitors at any time. A digital remembrance book is available as an alternative way of honouring your loved one, as well as the traditional paper book.

With parking for 140 cars, including disabled spaces, and seating capacity within the chapel of 160, there is room for a larger funeral, however, guests are asked to keep its rural location in mind.
