This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

We were delighted with the service we received from the Coop. There was attention to detail, a desire to go the extra mile and a compassionate and sensitive response at all stages.
When there were changes to be made or questions to be asked there was a flexible and courteous meeting of our needs.
Patience was shown at all stages, even though, at times, we were emotional and a touch irrational.

All the staff were very supportive and kind. They guided us through everything and made sure we were kept informed. The funeral service went very well. We intend to take out funeral policies ourselves as this was a good help. Many thanks to all the staff there.
