Leo and Janice were excellent they explained everything clearly, we're accommodating and sensitive to our needs. They provided excellent customer service and made everything easier for us during our very difficult time. When visiting my father at the chapel they were very flexible with the times we could visit and we're professional, caring and friendly. The entire team at stibbards were amazing. David Wilson who wrote and delivered my father's service was excellent. He delivered it with such grace and gave us lots of support during the writing of my dad's life. He was very accommodating also with how we wanted the service to be.
Overall I would highly recommend stibbards and the team and all of the amazing services they provide.

Janice went out of her way to help me.A very competent lady who organised everything to run smoothly & as painlessly as possible.She read me so well,& realised how much my darling Bob meant to me.Always so professional in her manner & appearance.
On the day of the funeral,you did him proud , showing respect, care &. empathy.

Loosing Dad, mums husband was a tough time for our family. We left him in the mortuary at hospital and closure for us was a problem having only seen him last in a white robe. After signing up with Stibbards, dad was transported to their funeral Palour in Southend and we were informed when he was resting with them. The director, Janice was very professional and listed out the prices and requirements. We wanted the best for our dad because we loved him, so even though we were strapped for cash, we ordered one of the most expensive coffins in their catalogue. It was fantastic to be allowed to make an appointment to view Dad's body in a private room. Janice was always accommodating and polite to Dad by talking to him and telling him we were here as she led us into the room. We know he had passed, but this showed respect for his body. The best or most commendable part of this journey was how the hearse and limo procession conducted themselves. The attire and care of passengers was first cla ... ss. Dad had a dignified send-off, and despite the cost, which was not unreasonable due to the high standards, it was more than acceptable. I thank God a company like Stibbards exists because it made closure and burial a very fluid and satisfactory experience. Rest in Peace, Dad. We have done the best we can for your funeral. more

From the first meeting I was made welcome and shown genuine sympathy regarding losing my beloved Dad. Everything was professionally and clearly explained to me and I was given advice on how to proceed at this difficult time.
With regards to the funeral everything was absolutely as I had devised it and the arrangements were impeccable,I realise that I could not have received any better service and I would recommend Stibbards to anyone who has a bereavement.
