The family of Pat would like to thank Stibbards for the kindness, dedication and respect they showed in what was a very difficult time. From the first phone call, meeting with Janice and then the actual day, we were shown how much they care about keeping you informed. We were told when they received mum, dressed her and how peaceful she looked, special thank Janice, as this made so much difference to us all.
On the day everyone showed much respect, not just to mum, but to all the mourners. Four days later we feel that thanks to Stibbards we did our mum proud.

Throughout my husband’s illness I had hurdles to go through in order to get the right care for him. The only time I really felt supported and empathised with was when I made contact with S Stibbards and Sons. Janice was very accommodating with my back and forth demands and she made sure all angles were covered. The day of the funeral we felt were really given the attention and care that we needed. The funeral was smooth and my family and I really grateful and so glad we chose S Stibbards and sons Funeral Directors.

From the moment I had contact with Stibbards , staff were professional and attentive with every question or concern.
Their approach with each contact was as though we were the only family they were supporting.
All staff were empathetic and we were never made to feel that this was repetition for them.

I cannot express deeply enough the excellence of this Funeral Directors. Our mother died whilst living in Essex surprisingly and we live in Heathrow. Therefore it was not an easy funeral to sort with both of us having demanding jobs. However Kate, in the Southend office was beyond diligent to deeply caring, professional, clear in communication and just a lovely lady providing a superb service. I am a minister of Religion and in my 30 years of ministry these are the best Funeral Directors I have ever worked with. They not only informed you what was going on - they told you when they could not proceed with issues and why. I cannot say thank you enough or rate them highly enough. Superb! In our darkest moment you were a light to guide our path - thank you so much.

I can’t recommend them highly enough. From first contact they were respectful, professional and sympathetic. They helped us to arrange all the small details, including printing out our photo for the service, and made a stressful time slightly more bearable. The cars arrived on time, the drivers were calm and respectful and waited patiently for us to chat with guests after the service before driving us home. They even loaded the floral tributes into the car, then laid them out on the front lawn for us at home. I can’t fault them at all. Very professional and caring service.

We received a very caring, professional and efficient service from Stibbards. Kate was especially helpful and very compassionate, she is a credit to Stibbards.
On the day everything went smoothly and was exactly as requested.
This is the second time we have used Stibbards and we would definitely use them again if the need arose.
