Standard Simple Funeral

Service includes:

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

It has been a very difficult time as you will know but Sally Heynes has been so helpful, available and approachable she made things as easy as possible for me and I cannot thank her enough. We also managed to have some laughter and she loved the photos and robin picture I eventually decided on which went so well with the half of picture of Alan pretending to have binoculars that Sally worked out (I was in the other half). My friends photos with the picture of Alan's chocolates on the back just completed it so with Sally's help that also came together. She found me Trevor Watkin's and with more help from Alan's cousin and sister I put the rest together everyone along the way was so helpful and kind and so many after the funeral said what a lovely service it was. You can't ask for more than that and Sally set it all in motion and guided me. Lesley Gregory
