From the start to the finish the care shown by all the staff was very kind , caring and nothing was too much trouble.They answered even the silliest questions I asked them. They made you feel safe.secure and special. I would highly recommend them

The only problem I had was when I contacted head office to let them know mum was ready for collection. 2 weeks went by and they didn't refer. But the funeral itself was very professional and done with compassion

I was fortunate enough to have the same team for sadly both my father who died June 2021 and my mother who died September 2023. The team were amazing, kind, helpful and professional. I would also state that they made 2 of the most difficult days of mine and the rest of my families day more bearable. Thank you.

We were all pleased with the service provided by both lea- on-sea and Broxbourne.
Every-one showed genuine care and empathy at such a difficult time.
This is the first time I have had to deal with a situation like this, and was unaware of how much there was to deal with.
But with your help and guidance, it made things less stressful.

I cannot recommend recommend Co-Op Funeral Care Leigh on Sea enough from the first time we spoke with Kara right to the day of the funeral for my Mum. Kara advised & organised everything so the day went smoothly. Thank you also to Steve the Funeral Director & his staff who looked after us on the day.

Throughout the long process the arrangements were handled compassionately and with personal care. We were kept up to date at all times by the Leigh branch funeral director. We were given time whenever we needed it and someone was always there at the end of the phone if needed. The quality of the services offered were excellent. My only concern was regarding the Obitus musical photographic tribute. I tried contacting them on several occasions as our requirements were I felt slightly different from their usual requests. I wanted personal contact with them, which I found difficult to achieve and in the end some of my fears were confirmed. However this had nothing to do with the excellent service we received from your Leigh Branch representative.

We felt that the funeral arranger was very helpful and went above and beyond. The only thing missing was the fact that I didn’t know there was a visual screen at the Crematorium and we would have put our own image on

Kara is a warm and caring person who puts you at ease immediately. I first met Kara when my mother passed away in 2017, so when my father passed away this year it was with some relief to see Kara at the funeral parlour in Leigh on Sea.

Everybody who attended the funeral made positive comments about the service. I felt the co op provided a very personal service.  I was kept informed of all aspects and felt they treated my wife with dignity and respect. The staff were all excellent and compassionate.
One small criticism was regarding the photo montage on the screen. Although I appreciate the intention of the way it was presented, I feel it was unnecessary and made some of the photos difficult to view.
