We found the co op funeral directors absolutely superb, fantastic support, professional and caring.
The celebrant they recommended was also first class.
The process from collection of Mum to the cremation was timely and painless. 
We are going to book our pre planned funeral for ourselves now.

Verity at the coop in Hockley was great. She explained everything in great detail and with empathy, always kept in touch to see if we were ok and made the funeral process very easy in our time of great sorrow and sadness. The celebrant and funeral director were also great and the funeral went very smoothly. The flowers were beautiful.

We could not have asked for more for a most wonderful send off for our Mum. From the very first visit to arrange the funeral through to after the funeral. Immediately Sophie got a feel for what we would like and how we'd like to celebrate her life and recommended the celebrant that would best suit what we wanted. So kind, attentive, thoughtful and communication was dealt with, with the utmost tenderness and kindness whilst being helpful, making suggestions and following the whole process throughout with great advice, professionalism and courtesy, and Verity afforded us the same when Sophie attended another office. They both made the whole process easier especially at such a difficult time and the day of the funeral, utterly wonderful, seamless and helped us to give our Mum the most lovely send off which was intimated to us from friends and family who attended. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I can not praise the care and compassion shown to myself  and family.
Verity even phoned and checked on me, after the loss of my husband. The flowers and the order of service was excellent.
The Funeral director Steve ,and the drivers, also very caring and precise. We also had the Celebrant that they used as well.Mike Cole.
Who also made it a very personal  and a fitting tribute to my late husband. Our family would highly recommend the Hockley Funeral care
