Everything was even better than expected. Carolyn, at Writtle, was fantastic throughout. Thanks so much for the work you all did, all the arrangements, from flowers, Order of Service cards, the hearse with Craig walking in front for a while - leaving our home and arriving at the crematorium - arranging for Ken to be the Celebrant, and everything else, made the day a wonderful tribute to my Mum.

From start to finish we were treated so well and with care and compassion.

Carolyn was lovely and always answered my sometimes what I thought might be a silly question, she would always say there are no silly questions.

On the actual funeral day, well that went so smoothly thanks to the drivers and all the other men and ladies. 

With a very extra special thank you to the lovely Lady Jodie who oversaw everything with extreme warmth ,care and being so professional and with compassion.
Always asking and caring that  myself and my Dad very happy and kept informed with what would happen though out.

We were very pleased with the      way the whole service went.  The celebrant was excellent, and all the help we had with arrangements at the Writtle branch was good.  It as a shame the wrong undertakers from a different part of the coop came to collect the body as the number we needed to ring was not clear on the paperwork.

I cannot recommend Co-op funeral services and particularly the Writtle staff (Kari Bennett) enough. The arrangments for my Mums funeral were smoothly managed and the personal skills of Kari in kindly, but efficiently dealing with my bereaved family were highly appreciated. Thank you

CoOp Funeral Directors in Writtle provide a compassionate and caring service for your Funeral needs.
After the sudden and tragic loss of our daughter Gemma, which was complicated by Coroner's involvement, I contacted Cara by telephone for her help.
Cara immediately, and with great care, new exactly what to do, and was a very reassuring guide through initial Coroners stage.
Family later attended her office and again, Cara very gently talked through the process and discussed our needs and wishes.
She was a continued presence and support during all the arrangements to be made.
On the day, the Funeral Director, Mark was a dignified and respectful guide from start to finish on the day.
Cars and staff were immaculately turned out and could not possibly have done more for us.
Sadly, this is the third time I have used CoOp in Writtle.
Cara handled my Fathers Funeral 2 years ago as Covid was arriving in the UK.
After her care and kindness shown at all stages, I would not consider going anywhere else when we recently lost our daughter Gemma.
Of course we did not 'shop around' in terms of the costs, but I believe they are competitive for the excellent levels of service provided now on a number of occasions for our family.
So, a huge 'Thank You' to Cara, Mark and other staff at CoOp office in Writtle.
