I am residing in Spain and had to arrange all of my mothers funeral service by telephone or email. Jane listened and took on board all of my requests. The celebrant Chris Cornell was provided by the Co op. On the day the service went exactly to plan and the service was just perfect. Many thanks for your kind, efficient service.

The Co-operative Funeral Stall provided a professional, excellent and efficient service, with clear explanations and guidance on all the procedures for the Funeral and the Crematorium. They were extremely polite and helpful with all the arrangements through to the day of the Funeral. Nothing was too much trouble, and they gave me the time I required where decisions had to be made on the options available. There were no problems or concerns, and my Family and I were always made very welcome. We were treated with the utmost respect, consideration, courtesy and sympathy at a very emotional time.

The staff at Broomfield Road were excellent and took me through the process step by step - patiently and with sound advice. This was the first funeral I had ever had to organise and I was full of (transparent) trepidation. The thing I most admired was that they kept me informed of every step, as each step happened. They also anticipated things I might overlook - before I could overlook them.
I felt that I could trust them straight away and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

From the initial meeting to the final goodbye all went smoothly. The hearse was prompt to the time specified on the day and all staff were friendly and professional. I would recommend their services.

The pasting of my mum has been a very difficult and stressful time but from the start of our experience with the coop everyone has been fantastic and kind and showed great compassion.

All requested arrangements were met. Jane Millbank ensured that nothing was overlooked. On the day, everything went smoothly and to time. The FD for the day, Craig(?), was excellent and the rest of the staff performed their services well. This is the second funeral that Broomfield has arranged under my direction, and the second time that they have provided an excellent service for me.

We were very happy with the service we received. Jane was very sympathetic, supportive and efficient. Everything was carried out with great sensitivity and concern. The funeral director gave great respect to our family and to our loved one. We were also very happy with the service at the crematorium.

However, we unfortunately did not receive a courtesy call from the limousine company about pick up times which did cause us a little stress on the day.

Smooth support at every event
Took time to listen to what was being asked, nothing appeared to be to much trouble. Very supportive at at a distressing time. Would have been s 5 star rating, but I was not happy with the transfer from coming out of the hearse and up onto the shoulders, 1 of the members of staff almost lost his footing and went flying backwards, while trying to ensure that my husband remained on shoulders and on his coffin. Heart was in my mouth and myself and family members, thought that he was going to be dropped. Rest of service went very well. Sue Last.

The funeral was exactly how our Mother would have wanted it. The Funeral Director, the drivers and pall bearers did a fantastic job which was very helpful given the stressful occasion.
In any other circumstances it would be judged as a resounding success for organisation, the helpfulness of the staff coupled with their professionalism.
