Chris and Maria are a fantastic team that made we feel comfortable and welcome. There was no hard sell and felt there were plenty of options. They handled the whole affair with dignity, compassion and understanding. Chris has the ability to make people feel at ease and often would lighten the conversation with appropriate humour. I have used Jefferies twice now and have been very happy on each occasion.

I have dealt with Jefferies twice now, for my Mother and for my Father. They are so friendly, kind and easy to deal with at such a horrible time. At no point during any phone call or meeting did they try and sell us services that we did not need or want. The funerals were both to be small and unfussy and they helped us with that without any judgement (we had been to a bigger Funeral directors and they were pushing things on us within 5 minutes of sitting down). Of course they have options for more elaborate requests, they were just not our choice.

Phone calls or emails were answered quickly and I knew what was happening at every stage.

I would not hesitate to recommend them, they are all lovely to deal with and the Celebrant recommended by them (Samantha Goodchild) was perfect for a non-religious good bye.

I would love to say thank you for the love and support you gave me and my family for the funeral of my husband and my daughters dad, especially Chris on the day of the funeral when he gave me a hug and after the funeral to make sure I was ok. If I ever do another funeral I will be going here. Maria has be a diamond to, if Covid wasn’t here I know she would of given me a hug when I saw my husband the first time after his death.
