We were so impressed with the caring and attentive service from the minute we made contact . Nothing was too much trouble and everything we wanted was included . The celebrant selected was so attentive to detail . We felt like she knew our loved one and us personally . A really special and memorable tribute to a much missed loved one . Thank you so much

Hello there, Although I've been to many funerals, arranging a funeral yourself for a loved one is a completely different thing. After reading countless reviews online and having no idea how to proceed I phoned Jefferies, after a recommendation from a friend. They listened. And that's a good start. We had to wait for probate, they were patient and supportive. The family changed their minds about the service and arrangements a couple of times, Jefferies were flexible and accomodating. On the day of the service, most of our family were late arriving, the Jefferies team remained calm and patient. Thank you all so much, Maria, Sam, Simon, the drivers and bearers. Keep up the good work.

From beginning to end, the service I received from Jefferies Funeral Directors was exceptional. Maria guided me through all of the paperwork and arrangements with such kindness and efficiency - nothing was too much trouble. On the day of the funeral, Simon and the staff were so attentive yet discreet, it was the perfectly peaceful occasion that I'd hoped for.

From the moment we stepped inside Jefferies Funeral Directors of Portslade we received a very warm welcome from Chris and Maria. Chris showed us into a private room whilst Maria kindly made us a cup of tea. Chris firstly had a chat with us to build a picture of our Auntie Gwen's life, family and friends. We chose a lovely Eco Coffin which was her choice. Step by step without feeling rushed Chris talked us through our options until we were happy with the chosen plan, but if we had any after thoughts not to hesitate to contact him. Maria was in constant touch with us organizing the Order of Service, leading up to the day making sure the plan was going well step-by-step. At one time I was feeling a bit anxious and Maria said "don't worry that's what I'm here for." All was taken care of - The Reverend George recommended by Jefferies was brilliant. Our choice of poems, hymn, a visual tribute with music which everyone commented after the service how lovely it was. Thank you Chris, Maria and the Team for being so kind and caring at such a difficult time. Gwen had a wonderful send off. I know she would have loved it. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Jefferies Funeral Directors of Portslade. Cliff and Dawn

As I live in Rhyl and my Aunt's funeral was being organised in Brighton, it could of been very stressful time. All arrangements took place by email and phone. With the friendly, calm support from Maria and Chris, and regular updates and advice on when to make decisions, it all went smoothly. We were able to follow all my Aunts wishes and felt she was with us all that day.
I would highly recommend Jefferies Funeral Directors.
