Amy was amazing at the Woodingdean Cooperative Funeral Care.   The funeral arrangements/plans from start to finish were explained so well.  Amy put us at ease straightaway in the  first meeting as she was so friendly & helpful so it was a fairly easy process, particularly when your a little anxious & upset.  We all said how good  the whole team Amy, Tracey & John, the Celebrant were.   In turn they couldn’t have done enough for us.  They all did us proud at a time of sadness.  All very professional too.  We would certainly recommend the Woodingdean team to anyone & we’ve all said that.  I have already recommended a friend  but she lives in Eastbourne & has just made arrangements with the Coop there.  Well done to Amy because you made a painful experience organising a funeral so easy because of how you are.  Linda (Barbara Burton’s daughter.)

We had a prepaid funeral plan organised a couple of years ago, to avoid having to make arrangements at a difficult time. This decision proved to be a very good one. We made just one phone call and all the arrangements fell into place.
We saw my Mum in lovely surroundings in the chapel of rest, and we encouraged to make arrangements for the service which were personal to us.

She took all of our needs into consideration and the whole experience was so well done from our initial contact to the orgnasation of the day, the recommendation of the Celebrant and the staff on the day at the chapel.

During such sad times, Amy was the one person who made the whole experience of arranging my dad's funeral, a very relaxed time. Having to telephone lots of different offices to report my dad's death, I was getting very anxious about calling the funerals directors. But I needn't have worried. Amy made the whole experience a very calm and caring time. She was absolutely my rock. So friendly, sympathetic, kind and a great listening ear. Thank you is not enough.

Very good all round service. Unfortunately we did not notice the glaring error concerning my late fathers date of birth as my dear mother and I were grieving considerably at the time. The correct date in question was given to yourself and Mr J. Bamber, however the wrong date went to print. The error was noticed at a later date by a family member which upset my mother no end.
