Glynis and Karen were both extremely helpful and informative at such a sensitive time. Karen was our main contact at Bakers FuneralCare, and she was very professional and offered the full range of facilities especially the services of Wesley Audio from whom we obtained details of their music and video services. All of the friends and relatives who attended the service in Downs Crematorium, expressed their happiness with the way the funeral was conducted and your Celebrant, Nigel Stutchbury, was superb is reading the Tribute and generally making everyone at ease, with the proceedings.

From beginning to end we were provided with a professional service, delivered with kindness and caring at all times by Bakers at Portslade. They were also upfront with their costs and using a local funeral directors meant prices were more reasonable, compared to others. They have helped us with both our parents and, because they retain and look after their staff, still remembered us after funerals 22 years apart. We would highly recommend them.

Everything was handled with the right level of care and attention, from planning through to the ceremony itself. The funeral director and the celebrant, even when there were small hitches, took control and smoothed things over.
