Jill Glencross’s firm were brilliant from the first phone call to make an appointment, where Kevin was very helpful in guiding us through this sad time, and even all the other staff were just as helpful with any questions we had. The service by the celebrant was beautiful as many guests commented on and even for the interment 2 days later both the Jacqui and Kevin were amazing. It wasn’t 5 star treatment it was higher, and we would use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them without a qualm

The whole process was exceptional and done beautifully on the day.Our Dad was given a great service and send off.Teresa who handled everything regarding the process of it all and organised our tributes was brilliant throughout..despite the odd curveball threw at her and yet she handled it with care and professionalism and I thank her forthat.I hope not anytime soon but if I ever find I need someone to take care of myself,family or friends I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jill Glencross to them.

From the moment I contacted Jill Glencross I knew we were in the most compassionate hands. Having never been in this situation before and not doing any research beforehand.
The Level of care began immediately, Theresa answered my call in the early hours with genuine compassion and arranged for collection at 4am. The Team who arrived were incredibly professional and showed the utmost Respect and sensitivity during this difficult time.
Their communication was brilliant. They followed up the very next day, giving us space and arranged for us to go and meet Claire who would be our funeral director, The process of seeing our loved one was explained and arranged to go and see her in their chapel of rest.
When we met with Claire on the day of the arrangement meeting, she made everything so straightforward for us a family, she navigated the whole process with such expertise. Knowing the exact questions to ask and gently guide us. She was able to organise the entire funeral seamlessly based on our answers.
The communication with Claire and her team throughout the whole experience was amazing, whether it be an email a phone call or me simply knocking on the door nothing was ever too much for any of them and the compassion shown from them all will never leave me. The Care and respect they gave to my mother in Law was outstanding and I knew she was in the best care.
On the day of the funeral Claire and the Bearers were absolutely outstanding, professional, caring an compassionate throughout. The service was fantastic and we truly could not of asked for a better farewell.
Gill Glencross Funeral directors handled every single detail with profound care and made an overwhelming process manageable. Thankyou so much for all of your unparalleled support.
