I cannot praise these directors and staff enough. They really helped us through a very difficult time and if you could say planning a funeral was easy, I would say that is what it was. They took everything on board and and whatever decisions we made were done quickly and efficiently, they gave excellent advice when asked and nothing was too much trouble. The care, respect and compassion they gave my mother was excellent. If you are in the unfortunate position of needing a funeral director I wouldn't hesitate in engaging the services of L J Tregunna.

L.J. Tregunna Funeral Directors in Truro, Cornwall, have been serving the local community with personalised, thoughtful funeral arrangements since 1948. As the third generation of the business, Kevin Tregunna and his wife Sue oversee every aspect of their traditional family funeral directors.

The compassionate team of funeral professionals at L.J. Tregunna Funeral Directors are happy to help with any sort of funeral your loved one might have wanted, whether that's a traditional religious ceremony or a non-religious, humanist celebration of life.

You will have a wide variety of coffins, caskets and urns to choose from, including hardwoods, veneers and eco-friendly materials. There is a range of funeral transport, including a traditional Jaguar hearse and limousine, horse-drawn hearses and other bespoke options.

L.J. Tregunna Funeral Directors' funeral home in Truro is open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week phone support. The funeral home has a chapel of rest where you can spend time with your loved one, private meeting rooms and free allocated parking nearby. Home visits are available by appointment.

    We walked into Tregunna on a miserable, wet Monday morning after a horrible weekend processing the loss of our father and with a lot of worry about what to do and the next steps we had to take.

    On arrival, we were welcomed in a very warm way, offered a cup of coffee and sat down together with the very understanding and sympathetic staff. They were very reassuring and explained everything very clearly. It was the first time we had to deal with death of a parent/ partner, the legalities and a funeral. They were very understanding of this and were so nice at all times. They were in constant contact with us and did everything they could to give us the information we needed and make the day as special as it was for our dad. The Celebrant, Colleen was equally professional and warming. She made the day very special for us.

    I couldn't recommend Tregunna more. Really exceptional service and even more exceptional staff.

    This firm is well known in Truro, it took care of my dad, some 11 years ago, and recently my mum.
    The staff are incredibly empathetic, generous with their time and patient when one has a 'wobble' and needs to stand back for a moment.
    The 'process' is explained quietly and carefully and, when life is at one of it's most difficult times, L J Tregunna provides a calmness and a security, for which I have been most grateful.
