Sutton Road Cemetery and Southend Crematorium is located 1.3 miles from Victoria Avenue 0.7 miles from Prittlewell station. There is a bus stop outside the cemetery which operates every 30 minutes.

The crematorium offers two chapels, South chapel, which can accommodate approximately 44 seated, and West chapel, which can accommodate approximately 100 seated which are wheelchair accessible.

The garden of remembrance at Sutton Road features many roses, trees and shrubs. Roses and rose bushes are found in communal beds of the garden, which covers eight acres. In addition toi the communal gardens, ther are formal gardens, a sunken rose garden and rock gardens.
