It was a very difficult time for us, especially me who could not attend the funeral due to covid, but you and your staff did a great job in working with us all through this tough time. What can I say Gallaghers have been amazing from start to finish. Simon whom we was dealing with was wonderful he kept us informed and explained everything in detail. The day of my sons funeral everything was perfect and very professional , I can't praise them enough. Would highly recommend.

An extremely personal service. 
When my 37 year old son was killed in September, we knew his funeral would need to be very different. As a musician, professional biker and NHS worker and about 300 attendees, there was much to include and consider. David Lawson handled everything personally but I was also addressed by my first name from all staff. Such consideration was taken. A little motorbike had been engraved on the plate on his coffin. David rode personally, in the pouring rain with his hand on my son’s motorbike hearse, guiding him all the way. The cortège included 100 motorbikes and all of this had been factored in. Live music was factored into the service with musicians and instruments. Every little detail had been thought of and nothing was too much for them. Many personal touches and great support during the month we had to plan this funeral. I cannot recommend Gallaghers Funeral Directors highly enough. They really do make the last time you have with your loved one as special as it could possibly be. I achieved all I wanted for my son’s final journey and for that, I could never thank them enough.

Gallagher’s family funeral directors gave us help, guidance, professionalism and expertise, all wrapped in care and compassion, at a time when we were all heartbroken over losing mum so swiftly.  Mum had arranged her own funeral, and Gallagher’s ensured that everything was carried out in accordance with mum’s wishes, as far as was possible, taking into account her chosen crematorium was closed for major alterations, and Covid 19 regulations .  We were kept informed all the way through the process; from them collecting mum, right down to when her ashes were scattered.  They even planted a tree in memory of mum.  How they included everything we wanted in her “order of service” was nothing short of a miracle.  It must have be “rejigged” 3-4 times - without complaint.  We know mum was treated with care whilst with them, and that made things a little easier for our family to bear.  Gallagher’s have been our “undertakers of preference” for at least 5 family funerals in recent years, and each time their services have been exemplary.  “Thank you for all you do guys; you really do go “above and beyond”.

As with all funerals I’m sure it’s a very very distressing time for anyone experiencing such sadness . David , Adele and co where just so supportive and generous with the time they gave me as a grieving widow and my husbands family . On the day of the funeral everything went to plan and made a distressing day a very well organised comforting day as David and his team worked like clock works to make sure everything went to plan . There is no doubt I would recommend their company again but I’m hoping not for some time yet regarding my family etc .
