Under the circumstances I think the funeral was as good as it could have been. Offering the outdoor service worked well for our family thankyou for offering it Its something maybe that could be explained better initially as I had a vision of everyone clapping outside and that wasnt the case it was only when celebrant explained that I understood Thankyou very much

Helen did an amazing job in the current situation. She did everything that we asked for within the guidelines . It was very personal . I cant thank Brooke's enough for doing everything in our hour of need . Helen arranged the whole thing even down to the flowers which was perfect . We were concerned that it wasn’t going to be a personal, loving service, saying goodbye to an important member of our family, but it turned out to be really beautiful and tasteful, and the Webcam broadcast meant that the family in Italy and Scotland were also able to view the service live. George Brooke provided an excellent service. It was strange having to hold the service outside of the Crematorium due to Coronavirus but it was carried out in a very professional way. Very satisfied.

Like many thousands of others during the coronavirus lockdown, we had to arrange a funeral, my father's, under very difficult conditions. George Brooke acted with understanding, discretion and complete professionalism throughout. They consulted us on even the smallest detail and went above and beyond what could be expected of them to make the funeral as positive experience as it could be under the circumstances.

George Brooke handled my Dad's funeral very well many years ago, and were the obvious choice for my Mum's funeral. Estimated costs were set out clearly, in writing,and queries dealt with very promptly. Helen at Brookes couldn't have been more kind or helpful from beginning to end, and the burial - held during the Covid restrictions - was despite difficult circumstances handled with great sensitivity. Excellent all-round service at a very stressful time.
