The whole team made my Mums funeral an extremely positive experience during a very difficult period for the nation and Tier 3 restrictions. We were guided through every step and given time and space to ensure we had everything in place for a befitting funeral for a life well lived. Due to restriction the service was made available online, this allowed a further 40 people to attend the service without a hitch. Nothing was missed, everything went to plan and the team kept us informed the whole way through. Thank you George Brooke for a special day.

Having used George Brooke’s previously there was never a question that we would not use them again .
From the initial telephone call to there office there well timed machine clicked into place .
We were met by Helen for the initial consultation and yes there was a funeral plan in place but she methodically went through everything in finite detail questioning checking that we were we sure were we happy with the choices that we had made and should we decide otherwise later it  wasn’t a problem .
Obviously we are mid Covid 19 with restrictions in place but we were sat comfortably with a well made cup of tea but at a distance but it still felt intimate and close .
As the days moved on the ladies in there office made calls to check we were ok and happy with the choices we had made with care thoughtfulness and sincerity .
At no point did we ever feel rushed into decisions we weren’t sure about .
Judith looked after us on the day of the funeral her professionalism care and attention to detail is second to none, she gave a lot of care and thought  to us from the hearse and limousine arriving no one was rushed we were just ushered into the right place at the right time everything was communicated perfectly .
We had specific requests for some of our flowers after the funeral
 which were absolutely outstandingly beautiful and again the wheels just swung into motion when we were feeling at our most vulnerable .
One very well oiled caring thoughtful professional team no stone was left unturned and we were so thankful and grateful for there support .

We are very grateful for the excellent and professional care that we recieved. All of the staff were wonderful and dealt with all of our requests sensitively. We feel that our mother had a lovely funeral considering the Covid restrictions.
Thank you all especially Helen who we feel went the extra mile. I have been to many funerals organised by Brooke's and have never been disappointed with the care and compassion demonstrated to each family.
Father Hird also gave our mother a wonderful funeral. We are very grateful that he allowed the funeral to take place in church, as mum isn't a Catholic. He spoke so wonderfully about her, and the anecdotes were both funny and sad at the same time.
Thanks again to all concerned. We will definitely recommend Brooke's to anyone requiring their services.

I felt included and was consulted with every step of the way.  I never felt rushed or pressured in the important decisions I was making. I know a lot must go on behind the scenes and I thank everyone who was involved in caring for mum whilst she was with Brooke’s, but special recognition and praise to Helen, Judith, Claire and Kirsty for their professionalism, kindness and compassion. You are so good at what you do and you all made a very difficult time bearable.  I genuinely feel my mum could not have had a more wonderful “goodbye”. Thank you.

From the initial telephone conversation with Helen we felt comfortable enough to make the necessary arrangements for Malcolm's funeral. At this sad time we were guided through the whole process with care and support. The day of the funeral was well planned, organised and was carried out with professionalism and dignity by Helen and her team. All family and friends praised the Celebrant, Christine Freeman who did a superb job in summing up Malcolm's life.

George Brooke are the only company we trusted for Stephen's funeral. Helen and her team have been wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. It was also good that Helen knew what my late husband was like being an old friend from way back. This helped when it came to what he'd wear as I couldn't decide so asked her to choose.
Helen knew my husband wouldn't have wanted anything fussy and they helped me to create the best send off we could have in the present climate.

Having used George Brooks twice in the past three years I cannot recommend them highly enough for their care professionalism and just the right amount of humour and compassion towards my family when dealing with firstly my fathers then my mothers funerals. Even taking all the covid rules regs and restrictions into account we managed to give our mother a lovely send off.
