From start to finish the staff at Hillier's were compassionate and totally professional. Given we had only one week to arrange the funeral, everything was done with no hitches. They took the pressure off us at this very difficult time. Sue was always on hand to answer any questions I had. Having rained the day before and the ground frozen and defrosted, everything was pretty muddy. One undertaker carrying the flowers slid down the slope like a snowboarder but, even then, remained totally professional - we found it hard not to laugh which my late father would have appreciated!
I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Hilliers did not get an excellent as although they were very good they messed up on my first stage payment and it was removed from my bank twice and although it was refunded it took from Thursday to Tuesday for the money to go back into my bank account which at the time caused a lot more stress

Hillier Funeral Service were outstanding in every respect; from our initial meeting with Tamara who sensitively talked us through everything to Chris who took care of us on the day. Everything was was done with old world courtesy and respect. Despite it being such a sad time, they really helped us to plan a celebration for our lovely Mum. IV florists, their associated florists also contributed hugely. Their sheaths and bouquets were exquisite.
Think you Hillier for looking after Mum and us so well.

Excellent communication and understanding of what I wanted for my Brother's funeral. Kind and friendly staff members in the main office and at the Chapel of Rest and complete honesty,when I needed it the most.

We were really impressed with the service provided for us on 8th July for Margaret Jean Hansen's funeral.
When Chris brought us back he kindly put all the flowers in the boot, dropped us at the pub, took my sister and husband back to the bungalow and unloaded the flowers for us.
All the staff dealt with us with empathy and compassion.
I would recommend Hilliers to anyone looking for a funeral director in the Swindon area.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all of the staff at Hilliers, the care in the way they looked over my mum was excellent , they made her look so beautiful & peaceful.
