From the moment we stepped into their office, we knew we were in safe caring hands; they dealt with us with such kindness and a little gentle humour which brought light relief. From Odette herself, who has a warm, empathetic presence, to Tom and Sara, the whole family were consummately professional, but helpful and patient with our various calls and questions. We had a private cremation and Odette was a calming but unobtrusive presence and allowed us to have our final goodbyes with dignity.

My family were extremely pleased with the arrangements for my dad's funeral organised by Odette Funeral Directors. We wanted something simple but respectful, they guided us through the options not "pushing" us into anything and we were able to make any amendments to our choices up to a few days before the service. As a family run business, we felt well looked after and the process intimately handled.

From the very start the support, compassion and sensitivity at the time of great loss to our family has been second to none. The services provided on the funeral day were excellent, all went off to plan and rather than being in the forefront of everything, Odette and team were almost invisible, just efficiently and compassionately making sure all went well and as planned. We felt like we were family and treated as such. We would highly recommend Odette as a funeral Director to anyone who wants a service that cares, is supportive and above all compassionate in everything they do.

I had not seen Odette for a few years but naturally turned to her for a family funeral. Standards of conduct of the whole process were excellent, just as I had remembered. And everything was kept simple, just as I had hoped. Holders of Defence Discount Card or Blue Light Card should certainly take advantage of special attention from Odette.
