The whole experience was made so much easier,dealing with Becky. She went out of her way to make sure everything was exactly the way we,and Mum would like it. It was a short notice funeral and Becky stayed with Mum,to do her hair,& make up,so she wasn't alone for long. The day,was a mix of tears & laughter,but again,it wouldn't have been the same,had Becky & her husband stepped up. Excellent service.

Professional and thoughtful - relieved the stress and decision making at a difficult time. They were extremely respectful at all times. Our funeral was small but they still made it dignified for us.

We were so sensitively supported before, during and after Dads funeral and his internment  You listened carefully and advised with kindness. The care provided to ourselves and my Dad was excellent.

Some items omitted from newspaper insert ie age of Audrey, area where Audrey resided, reference to deceased husband and Audreys age.
Whilst the responsibility lies with the family I feel that guidance on the inclusion of these point would probably be something that the funeral directors should advise on. It only became apparent at later time.
All other aspects were very good

The staff are excellent! They are friendly, understanding and caring. Nothing is too much trouble, before you ask they have suggested it and have it in hand for you. They really get to know the family and the person who has passed and make sure that the funeral reflects that. If you want serious and professional they can do that, or if you want it a bit more laid back and lighthearted with some humour they will do that for you aswell. Which is what we asked for because my mum was a character and loved a bit of banter and they definitely delivered that on the day. I would highly recommend them.

At a time when emotions and apprehension of what happens next were scary Mackness diffused all concerns, took control, explained what needs to be done and took the pressure off. Nothing was too much and they acted as a buffer and a kind compassionate leader. They were always available just to talk to and went the extra mile asking how things were without a prompt. In what is a difficult scenario they carried the family, I cant add anything but they are good, caring and compassionate. My Mum would be proud of their efforts.

Only one grumble when a change of processional music was not adjusted on the draft copy of the order of service.  Otherwise, excellent.
