Having carefully researched our options and been directed to Radcliffe Funeral Service via recommendation, we were certainly not disappointed.

From the point at which we got in touch via telephone to make an initial enquiry, our requirements were responded to with grace, professionalism and a warmth and lightness of touch that can only come from a friendly, truly customer focused family business.

Throughout all of our dealings with the team during the preparations for the funeral, James, Gwen and Ian consistently did their best, not only to meet, but exceed our expectations at every step of the way.

When the time came for Avril to be taken into their care, the situation was handled with such dignity and compassion. We were confident that she was in safe and competent hands.

On the day of the funeral service, Ian ensured that absolutely everything ran perfectly smoothly and was an absolute gentleman throughout.

As a family, making sure our very special Mum and Peter's wonderful wife's final journey reflected the strength of the love she gave to us and that which we feel for her was incredibly important. With the support of Radcliffe Funeral Service, we were able to make sure she received the quality of care (and send-off) she deserved.

The funeral directors and staff were very attentive and showed great sympathy and consideration for all the family.

This was the second family funeral conducted by Radcliffe Funeral Service and, as before, they were absolutely brilliant. Their care, compassion, knowledge, attention to detail and overall service are second to none. At a very difficult time for us as a family, they completely took the stress out of everything. Ian, and all the other members of staff at Radcliffes who we had cause to speak to, were wonderful to deal with. Very straightforward yet compassionate. Ian listened to our wishes, explained everything very clearly, kept in touch so we never had to do any chasing and dealt with things promptly. It was just the service my children and I needed when we were in an initial state of shock following my husband's death. We can't thank them enough.
