It is a sad fact that we have had to call upon the services of George Brooke's family on several occasions now, following family bereavements.
And we will always call upon them to help us through such difficult times when they arise in the future.
And this is for two reasons:

- The family members we have sadly lost all believed that death is a process in life. It is not an ending: it is a passage to something else. What that "something else" might be is a matter of individual faith and belief.
This way of accepting the fact of death has been of great comfort to our family: we want to believe in the possibility of reunion.  
George Brooke's family and staff have supported us in this belief with empathy and with great sensitivity and without censure or cynicism. 

The second reason we depend on the Brooke family for support and comfort during  these sad times is that they have the enviable ability to treat us as if we are their only client. Their focus is on our family, making us feel secure and held during times of great distress.  

They understand that life's light and its corresponding shadow continue into death, and their support is therefore humane, warm, sometimes humorous if appropriate, and always sensitive and sympathetic. We would like to thank them, from all the Greenwood family.

The whole team at George Brookes were outstanding from start to finish, Judith has a remarkable way of dealing with the grieving family ensuring that the practical elements of what need to happen actually do happen whilst limiting the emotional trauma on those impacted by a death.

Losing a loved one was something we could never prepare for as a family. My Dad was not only my Dad but my best friend and George Brooke took all the worry and stress of arranging the funeral away at this very difficult time. Every time I had a question to ask they seemed to know and  before I could call them, they would call me. Funeral directors is a service that no one looks forward to using but when you do, you need one that is as professional as George Brooke. We could not have asked for a more understanding and sympathetic funeral directors. I would highly recommend George Brooke.
