Robert and his team at village undertaker's have recently helped my dad on his onward journey,I cannot praise them enough to be honest,I called him upset and in panic and he was instantly calming and sympathetic towards our loss and reassured me everything will be fine,he called to our house sat and drank tea whilst going through the details.After we had spoken I felt a great sense of relief.The arrangement's were dealt with speedily, nothing was too much to ask for,he executed everything meticulously,the Day of the funeral was outstanding, they turned up with precision extremely smartly dressed in a pristine looking hearse with the flower arrangement that was so beautiful i burst into tears, everything was so perfect, people commented afterwards saying it was probably the most beautiful well arranged funeral they've ever attended.This gave me a huge sense of pride , however it's Robert and his team that deserve the credit 👍 In a nutshell I recommend them as highly as is possible!! If people would like a genuine,sincere and personal,most professional service,do not hesitate to call him.5.stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Robert Waddington at Village Undertakers was recommended to us by a friend and we are so pleased that we chose him and his team to look after Stuart.

From our first contact with Robert, he showed the utmost care, professionalism and empathy to both our beloved Stuart and us. He calmly guided us through everything and made a very sad time become a beautiful memory both before and after the Funeral.

Robert delivered a perfect Eulogy for Stuart - it was as though they had known each other for years although they had never met. Stuart would have been so proud.

Our grateful thanks to Robert - we highly recommend him to anyone who is sadly faced with bereavement and wants the best care possible for their loved one.

Professional and compassionate service from the moment we picked up the phone. Robert was kind and flexible with us as we navigated our grief and tried our best to give my mum the ceremony that was befitting. We cannot thank Robert enough for the kindness and care he showed while looking after my grandad’s funeral. My sister and I simply could not fault Robert or the way he handled our Mum's funeral. He offers a uniquely personal approach - he's kind but clear, he's can-do and he really listens. From the choice of coffin to the choice of crematorium, Robert advised but never imposed his own views. He made everything run seamlessly; and along with his warm & wonderful wife, was a calming presence at the Chapel of Rest and after the event when we collected the ashes from his home. I could not recommend Robert enough - his attitude from the off was that he was there to make a very difficult time as easy as possible - and he pulled it off. A wonderful man, who helped us give our Mum the send off she deserved. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend.

Robert took great care to find out about Dad and met with us on a couple of occasions to organise what needed to be done.

Everything went like clockwork on the day and it was really well organised. Robert spoke at the funeral and delivered a wonderful description a Husband and Father and we as a family appreciate all the hard work he put in on our behalf.

The wake was also well organised by Robert and the venue was great and we were able to celebrate Dad in the way he would have wanted.
