Professional and compassionate service from the moment we picked up the phone. Robert was kind and flexible with us as we navigated our grief and tried our best to give my mum the ceremony that was befitting. We cannot thank Robert enough for the kindness and care he showed while looking after my grandad’s funeral. From the very beginning he took the time to meet with us a couple of times, really listening and getting to know who my grandad was as a person, which made the service so personal and special. My sister and I simply could not fault Robert or the way he handled our Mum's funeral. He offers a uniquely personal approach - he's kind but clear, he's can-do and he really listens. From the choice of coffin to the choice of crematorium, Robert advised but never imposed his own views. He made everything run seamlessly; and along with his warm & wonderful wife, was a calming presence at the Chapel of Rest and after the event when we collected the ashes from his home. I could not recommend Robert enough - his attitude from the off was that he was there to make a very difficult time as easy as possible - and he pulled it off. A wonderful man, who helped us give our Mum the send off she deserved. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend.

Robert took great care to find out about Dad and met with us on a couple of occasions to organise what needed to be done.

Everything went like clockwork on the day and it was really well organised. Robert spoke at the funeral and delivered a wonderful description a Husband and Father and we as a family appreciate all the hard work he put in on our behalf.

The wake was also well organised by Robert and the venue was great and we were able to celebrate Dad in the way he would have wanted.

We have just recently used Village undertakers (Robert) after losing our dad. Robert was incredible from day one. He was so calm and helped arrange everything from start to finish. He made the full process a lot easier for us all. He also conducted the most beautiful funeral service at Shay Grange cremetorium capturing everything that we had spoken about adding more.
