Village Undertakers is a funeral director in Wilsden, covering the villages of Harden, Denholme and Cullingworth, but also serving families in the towns and villages of the Aire Valley and towards the City of Bradford. They have also been proud to serve further afield in Ilkley and Skipton.
As a relatively new business established in 2017 by Robert Waddington, Village Undertakers aim to have a refreshing approach, and are open to different ideas, while being respectful of you and your loved ones wishes. Although they are a newer business, Village Undertakers can draw on the vast experience of their staff, with two colleagues having over 30 years each in arranging funerals and embalming.

His support has allowed me to concentrate on other procedures following my mother's death, knowing that he has been respectful of and caring for my mother's body through to her final journey. I would like to thank Village Undertakers for the sensitive and accurate portrayal of my sister Sonya's life. The eulogy was delivered by Robert with humour and compassion.
Nothing was too much in meeting my requests and offering good guidance through out from start to finish.
I wholeheartedly thank Robert for for his ability to listen and compose such a wonderful tribute to Sonya with many anecdotes from Family, Friends and Colleagues.

Robert was kind, gentle, understanding, helpful and very compassionate. He is also a registered Celebrant which meant only having to deal with one person at the worst time in my life.
He did my husband proud under very difficult circumstances during the pandemic.
