Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

A few errors with the Ministers and Coop funeral order of service dialogue but spotted and remedied. The service was excellent, well given by the Celebrant and professionally handled by the Coop personnel.

From the very first point of contact with Co-op Funeral Care at Longfield House our family received the very best of care. Great care was taken to ensure that the funeral was carried out in accordance with our wishes. Our funeral director, Megan, was very empathetic and explained everything in great detail. She was always on hand to answer any query and advise us accordingly. The music and orders of service were all arranged by her and she put us in touch with a wonderful celebrant who conducted the service. Nothing was too much trouble and every step was confirmed via email for us to check and query where necessary. We never felt pressured into anything, there was no hard sell. All costs were fully explained.
The company made a very sad and stressful day so much more bearable.
