This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

I would like to say how helpful everyone at Lancing Co-op involved with Mum's Funeral were. They were sensitive and thoughtful right from the very first phone call and always available to answer anything we needed to know. They led us through the process from start to finish and made things so much easier for us. We didn't have to worry about anything. They kept in touch all the time. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

James, Justin and Tracey were wonderful guiding my sister and I through this sad process and we thank them sincerely. Mum had a beautiful celebration of her life albeit with limited numbers allowed to attend but somehow the whole ceremony was more intimate and personal.

Having had poor reviews some 5-6 years ago in the national media I was hesitant in choosing the Co-Op but I was extremely surprised at the high level of service and attention to detail they offered at my step grandmother's funeral recently. Utter top notch professionalism and care was offered to which I'm very grateful. They offered a celebrant who we used who was also outstanding. For a potentially sad day, these people made it bearable and very easy. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

The young lady Hannah who advised me initially couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. The funeral was handled perfectly especially considering the restrictions in place.
