The funeral arrangements were dealt with sympathy and care. Claire could not have been kinder. She kept us informed every step of the way. As it was a long time to wait for the funeral she kept in touch to see how we were doing. At the funeral the care continued and for that l was grateful. Claire made a sad situation bearable.

The Coop was amazing from start to finish. The staff were amazing Claire and Jessica so patient and caring.

I would like to thank all the staff Pauline, Jessica and Claire for their help and assistance. I such difficult times it is comforting to know that you have the personnel to help families and friends of the bereaved.
I would only add that the opening times at the Fulwell office from 10 am until 2 Pm is in my opinion too short and does create more stress than is necessary. It means the initial contact on clothing, details and pictures is more distressing having to fit in this timescale. Also you may have to wait or comeback later to give another bereaving family time and privacy with the member of staff. It means you must leave and comeback which isn't easy at this time. when my Father in law died we used the same office and the poening times

Claire, Pauline and the team behind the scenes at Co-operative Funeral Care could not have been more helpful, kinder or efficient. It certainly made Dad's passing easier to deal with. They struck just the right note.

I would like to put on record how well all the staff treat us and cared for my mam whilst in their care.
The standard of care and detail was superb and clearly nothing was off the table in what we were offered.
All staff were superb but I have to say Claire provided a service way above my expectations and a big thank you to her and her team.
The Co-op also carried out my father's funeral 11 years ago so obviously would highly recommend them to you all.

Unfortunately we have had to organise both our parents funerals within two and a half years. 
On both occasions we have been supported by Alison from Co-op. She has been wonderful on both occasions, making it as easy as possible and has helped us celebrate their lives in the most appropriate way. 
I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Alison and the Co-op to anyone facing this very difficult time

Having a pre paid plan in place made things very easy.
All the staff were very professional and caring.
On the day of the funeral the funeral director showed such respect and care to my late mother and dealt with everything so calmly and efficiently.

I have dealt with Christie and Claire after my father's death, they were so easy to talk to and so helpful with suggestions for my father's funeral. They were caring throughout and guided us as a family when making difficult decisions.

Highly professionals. Had conflict with a family member, but the Sunderland branch went out of their way to handle the situation. Staff are dedicated to ensure everything runs smoothly at an extreme difficult time in people's lives. Would definitely recommend their services.
