At a time of sadness when you’re not at your best Alison guided me through from the first time we met until after the funeral. She was very professional, supportive, helpful and approachable. As were  Marie & Linda in the Chester Road branch & the staff at Washington.

Alison helped organise my dad’s funeral, which also involved his body being repatriated back to his home town in Italy.
I can only sing Alison’s praises. From our initial meeting, she handled the arrangements with a great deal of empathy, calmness and kindness. She carefully guided us through the various decisions that had to be made, and continually kept us updated at all times. She also responded to certain requests when she wasn’t meant to be working.
Prior to the funeral, Alison very clearly outlined the day and what to expect. She took away the burden and worry for such a sad occasion, and we felt we were in ‘safe hands’ at all times.
From start to finish, the funeral was handled by Alison and her team in a professional and efficient manner. It was a truly first class outstanding service!!  She delivered on all aspects of the funeral arrangements and exceeded our expectations. I will recommend Alison and the Co-op’s funeral service to anyone who requires such services. THANK YOU!!

I was contacted on several occasions to ensure I understood what each step entailed and what to expect next.  This made the whole process including the actual funeral less stressful. Both Alison and Clare were helpful and reassuring funeral directors. Linda at reception was an absolute delight.  I would rate them 5 stars. Unfortunately I was given incorrect information by Marie , regarding the decision to carry the coffin hence the 4 star rating.
