I was asked to organise the funeral of a lady I didn't know because her brother was unable to do so due to him being quite ill himself. I found all the staff at your Chester road branch not only helpful but went the extra mile to ensure I was informed and consulted on everything,from begining to the final farewell .superb service .I'd give 10 stars to you all if I could .thank you so much and may God Bless you all. Lynda was inspiring and made me completely at ease discussing the arrangements and could understand what I did and did not want and why. I did not want a major ceremony as it would only be a small number of former colleagues, friends and neighbours who knew Doreen well. They all understood that I did not want family travelling miles for 15 minutes goodbye and many were elderly so what we put together worked brilliantly and and everyone was very happy and we celebrated the life of a very special lady and that was all that mattered. I have no difficulty in recommending the services we received and trust everyone in the future will be as satisfied as I am and my friends are too.

The branch we dealt with was on Chester Road,in Sunderland, they helped us immensely from start to finish, Alison and her team of lovely ladies on the desk, the drivers, and pole bearer’s were nothing but professional, very friendly and helpful throughout the lead up and on the sad day, I would highly recommend Co-op funerals to everyone.

Can't thank everyone enough for all the help to arrange funeral for my husband, from David Sim to Linda in the chapel of rest , having lovely people to help you through the most overwhelming time of your life is something l will never forget , David's help with our dog milly to walk my husband from our home then at the crematorium was something l didn't think about , l am so grateful for everything everyone did for me to give my husband the send off he deserved can't find enough words to thank everyone, bless you all ❤
