It is hard to compare funeral companies, as hopefully not used too often, but what i can confirm is that the Co-op were nothing more than the most professional & friendly company I could have wished for, the service director Craig Button very professional & attentive very approachable.

I would like to thank Craig and the team once again for making my Mum's funeral so special. Craig, Lynne, Jade and Nichola were fantastic and looked after me through every step of the way. I wanted the personal touch and even though the Co-op is a huge organisation the personal touch was met in every small detail. Thoughtful, caring and even saying good morning to my Mum everyday she was there. This is exactly what I wanted for my Mum.
They pulled together the South Shields Gazette, the flowers if needed, the church and Father Bill, the burial, they helped my brother & I carry Mum into the church and prompted us through the day.

From start to finish the Co-op did a fantastic job organising my mothers funeral.
Nothing was a bother, they were very helpful and knowledgeable. And on the day everything was time to perfection and the service with the Humanist was dignified and thoughtful.
