I felt well looked after from the moment I walked in the door. Kevin looked after every detail, and he and his team made sure everything went really smoothly. I was particularly moved by the attention to detail, including the formal wear of those in the cortège, the respect paid to the coffin, and the calm and kindness shown by every member of the team. I cannot thank the team enough, and gladly recommend them to anyone who needs such a service

The co op service was excellent. Everyone involved demonstrated kindness professionalism a thoroughly caring approach throughout. The co ordinating director was kind thoughtful and helped through this difficult time. The lady in the funeral home was sensitive and kind. The funeral itself was exactly as we  wished: so many have said ‘how joyful’ it was - a celebration of Terrys achievements and a true memorial. Thank you.

Chris, the funeral director,  together with the staff in the High Heaton branch did an excellent job in organising  my late father’s funeral. Chris took care of all the arrangements from start to finish including organising a wonderful celebrant. I would recommend them highly.

The Co-op Funeralcare High Heaton, Is the branch our family used for both my Mother and now my Father. On both occasions the team were friendly, caring, respectful and professional. They gave us support and advice and help to arrange all the need's and wishes of my Father, and our family wishes for his funeral, they went above and beyond for us to achieve the best for our Dad. We have dealt with the same team before so we knew we were in good hands. I initially contacted the Co-op Funeralcare High Heaton branch, but all my dealings thereafter were with Kevin, funeral director at their Benwell branch. My deceased brother was taken to the Benwell chapel of rest from a hospital mortuary. An excellent all-round funeral service managed by a top-notch funeral director. Very caring, thoughtful and respectful. Reasonable fees. First class and full marks.

Kevin was extraordinarily efficient having most of the details of mum's funeral arranged within 48 hours of us having made initial contact with the Coop. Throughout he was very clear and maintained constant contact. I will be very pleased to recommend the Coop funeral services
