From start to finish the service was exemplary. Warm, caring, respectful. Nothing was too much trouble, even when lack of paperwork was causing problems, Nichola and her staff were calm and helpful. The design of our Order or Service was really original and unique. I can’t thank the ladies enough for making the whole experience compassionate and sympathetic.

For are first family funeral we were not looking forward to even getting our heads around the whole process but in came Nichola who was absolutely amazing put us all at ease and talked us through everything we wanted. She was very professional, friendly  and caring, but most of all Nichola made sure are family member (Tony) needs where met as well as his heartbroken family. We all as a family where so pleased Nichola was there along with the rest of the team at Co- op funeral windy nook. Many thanks from all the family .

Everyone we interacted with during the process of saying goodbye to my dad was absolutely fantastic. Thank you Lyndsey for all your help, kind words, and the lovely brew. I want to say an extra special thank you to Nichola who made every step so easy in what has been such a difficult time. Everything we asked for, she made happen. Dad got the exact send off he asked for, thank you.

Following the death of my mother I cannot thank the staff at Windy Nook, Gateshead enough. Which had been one of the most difficult times I have experienced everyone there has gone above & beyond to guide myself and my sister through the process. We would like to especially mention Claire our funeral director, she explained things fully, was very empathetic and made our mothers funeral service dignified and the way she and us wanted, thank you all for everything you have done for our family.

Didn’t hesitate to use COOP Gateshead as used them for my dad’s funeral 2 years previous. As expected , fantastic , kind service and warm personalities provided by the whole team. Helpful advice and assistance along the way together with giving us time to be on our own in between planning and funeral day. Our lead director was Nichola with other names of the staff being Lindsay , Leigh , Jan and all the staff really, excelling themselves. You never want to tell people who to use for funerals but would always recommend COOP Gateshead if asked by anyone .

Paid for the funeral 6 years ago , made it so easy to arrange when we needed it ,, the people at windy nook were so helpful organised everything the way we wanted it , the day was lovely nothing was to much trouble for the girls sorting it , thank you

The service we received from Co-op funeral care was exceptional. Our family were treated with dignity, care and respect. Nothing was too much trouble and Nichola and Lindsey in particular went above and beyond. Thank you so much for helping us to arrange everything for our mam's final journey. Hi I cant praise everyone highly enough.
Especialy Nichola Linsley.
From the moment I walked through the doors of the co op, to when I was dropped off for dads wake.
I was fully supported and felt like I was amongst friends.
Whatever I needed to get me through the first stage of losing my amazing dad, everyone provided care and support.
I cant thank you all enough xxx

We would highly recommend coop funeral care to anyone thinking about taking out a funeral plan. Given the difficult situation our family was going through with the death of my mam. They made it allot easier, even thinking of the little things like mementos.

From the moment our mum passed they were there for the family nothing was too much trouble and we could call them 24/7 if need be. They arranged everything with sympathy and consideration and went over everything down to the smallest details. On the day the funeral went exactly as planned.
