From the very first contact with Rosedale Funeral Home, following the death of my wife, Iris Ruth Smalls, I was most impressed. Kathryn, the funeral arranger
was kind and sympathetic, both then and in further contacts. She was so helpful
and efficient in arranging everything, down to the smallest detail. On the day of the funeral everything was perfect. My son and daughter agreed with me that
nothing could have been improved upon. It was absolutely excellent. Many people in the church who spoke to me later said what a wonderful funeral they thought it was.

Rosedale’s compassionate staff are professional and take great care in looking after your loved one.
Rosedale have a flexible approach to funeral arrangements and are able to offer a face to face arrangement at the office in their beautifully presented but practical arrangement rooms, in the comfort of your own home or by telephone, Zoom or Skype.
Parking is available for visitors opposite the funeral home, and a separate disabled entrance is also available should it be required. Rosedale’s chapel of rest where you can spend time with your loved one is available on the ground floor.
Rosedale Funeral Home offers Bereavement Support Groups, which are free to attend and open to all, regardless of what funeral director you have used. At Rosedale, the team believes that providing the very best of bereavement care goes hand in hand with helping you arrange a funeral for your loved one.

At the time of arranging a funeral you are just coming to terms with the shock of your loved one dying, it is a horrible emotion and time. My head and heart were both very lost, but with Kathryn and Chloe's guidance and support at Rosedale, I felt safe. I knew that the one last thing I could do for my darling husband was give him the most beautiful send off I could manage. From start to finish I knew they would help me achieve that. All the staff during the lead up and on the actual day of the funeral, could not have been more supportive to me and the family, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My husband passed away suddenly in February and I called Rosedale Bungay the very next day to just enquire whether they could transport him from where he passed to themselves and spoke with Kathryn who was so lovely and sympathetic, but also gave me all the information needed and the patience with me whilst I gathered myself.
I had picked Rosedale as they had undertaken my Mother in laws cremation 14 years before and were very professional at that time and I wanted the same for my husband.
Kathryn gave me full confidence that they would be able to handle this all for me and she metaphorically held my hand throughout the whole process making suggestions for things to include and keeping on top of when's & where's and even afterwards with collecting the ashes and administering the donations.
I cannot even begin to explain how important this is when you are in an emotional state. It felt as though she was going through it all with me.
I cannot recommend them enough and even though Kathryn was my main contact all the staff were very respectful at all times.
I would use them again in a heartbeat.
