Karen at Rosedale Funeral Home worked with us to put together a funeral for Mum that we felt did her justice. She was kind and sympathetic, and made the whole process stress-free. Communication was excellent and everything was clearly explained. I would highly recommend Rosedale for sensitive and efficient management at a very emotional time.

This was the second time I have used Rosedale and I cannot fault the service I received throughout the process. Everything was explained and even asking for a Saturday cremation service was not too much trouble. The whole day went smoothly and all staff were helpful, polite and had the appropriate degree of friendliness but also formality. Thanks You all.

From start to finish Alison and Karen were absolutely fantastic.
I dealt with Alison over the phone initially asking what I deemed to be silly questions at times but Alison walked me through the whole process and what to expect.
When myself Clare and the dogs arrived to organise the funeral Karen was amazing. The meeting wasn’t formal and morbid it was upbeat with a few laughs thrown in at the time which was much needed at the time so thankyou so much for that Karen you were great.
We also got to meet Ben who was looking after Lizzie and he made us feel very confident in the knowledge that he would treat her with dignity and respect.
The whole service was everything we wanted and we couldn’t fault Rosedale one bit. Thank you so much

Myself and the Family were treated with great respect from the moment we met with Alison - kept up to date with calls and guidance from Karen - and treated with great care and reassurance  by Kevin and his team on the Day .
Rosedale Beccles also recommended Chloe Middleton ,our Celebrant ,whose patience ,time, understanding and care  meant so much to us all .

At such a difficult time when you have just lost someone its hard to know what needs to be done. The team at Rosedale totally looked after me, getting me booked in at a time to suit me to discuss arrangements and sent me things to consider beforehand so I could discuss with family. I felt I was offered a huge range of choices and options that allowed me to define the funeral in the most fitting way but without overwhelm or any hard selling - I literally could have or not have whatever I wanted. On the funeral day, the team looked after me well, communicating arrangements and putting me and my family first. A great job in a difficult circumstance. I have one thing I would like to make a suggestion of which I never thought about at the time and maybe its very strange but afterwards as everything has past and I reflect on that day, it would have been nice to have had a handful of photos taken such as when the coffin was taken past home for the last time, when it was carried into church and set down to begin the service and maybe ahead of the actual burial. Obviously this would have to be at a distance and very quietly done but I feel others may like something to reflect on afterwards too. Thank you for a job very well done with so much respect. Several people commented how fitting it all felt for the celebration of mums life.

The Rosedale team from start to today has helped us to cope with the challenges of the funeral for our beloved daughter. Explanations were freely given on all our questions which lessened our every concern. Their team at the Crematorium ceremony showed dignity throughout and visibly showed care during the service. Our grateful thanks are given from all the family and friends.

From the moment the Rosedale staff arrived at my parents home to collect my father the respect & reverence they showed him and myself & my mum was awesome. The way Karen took us through the organising of the funeral and their thoughtfulness & care towards us all on the day of the funeral was kindness itself. 

It made a difficult time for us as smooth as possible and I would certainly use their services again and highly recommend them and their services.

Firstly, I was shocked and upset to receive an email from the team incorrectly referring to the death of my mother. This was not only distressing, but it also indicated a lack of care and attention to detail at a time when accuracy and sensitivity are essential.


At the time of collection of my father, we were pushed towards a non-attended cremation. I believe this was due to our perceived financial situation, which is entirely inappropriate especially only hours after my father's passing and not in line with our wishes.

The original price and process that were quoted to us changed on several occasions without clear explanation. When we sought clarification, the responses we received were blunt and lacked the transparency and compassion that should be expected from a professional funeral provider.

The day of the funeral went smoothly and I felt the guys on the day did a brilliant job, respectful and kind to us as a family.

My original review did not go into detail, as I considered it personal but after being harassed to increase the star rating due to "the effect it could have on a small business" and the reply on here I felt more detail was needed so people can decide for themselves if it was fair to give an average review.
