We had a superlative service from Penistone Funeralcare. Everything went like clockwork from the moment we first visited to arrange the funeral. Throughout this time we were treated with the utmost consideration. We never felt under pressure or harried to make decisions and the funeral on the day could not have been a more harmonious occasion. Excellent throughout.

Bereavement is a stressful time, so relying on a funeral director is a good way to cut down on the stress level involved. That was mostly the case for me, but when our chosen coffin style was reported to be out of stock, the Co-op said they were unable to source one, so asked me to buy one myself. I found one online using a Google search within 2 minutes and had bought it within 5 minutes, so in that regard it was not a problem. I do think it strange, however, that I could do what the largest funeral organisation in the country apparently could not.

We cannot speak more highly of Penistone funeral care, from the start right through to the end they were professional, thoughtful, amenable and friendly, nothing was to much and dealt with everything in a cool calm manner making us feel at ease in,what was, a very stressful situation. Janice and Candice were so nice, nothing was too much and they put together a service that was 100% right. We would have no doubt in recommending them, they provide an excellent and quality service.

Lovely Funeral carried out just the way we wanted  Our guests and family had a few laughs as well as tears. A few bumps along the way but they was sorted out in no time with the very helpful staff . Could not have gone any better Thankyou very much .

Candice at the Penistone office was great and arranged everything like we wanted. She was warm and sympathetic and kept us informed at all times.

Wonderful service from Candice and Joanne at Penistone. They instantly took care of me and my sister and supported us through this difficult time. The funeral was absolutely beautiful and all went well. I put that down to the great organisation of the branch. We can't thank Penistone enough for making sure our mum had the send off she deserved.

Absolutely brilliant.
From the start to final Farewell they were marvellous. Kind, respectful, supportive & understanding. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was clearly explained especially arrangements & all paperwork that is required at a difficult time. On the day Ron was a gentleman & his team treated myself, my family & friends with kindness & friendship. I trusted them. The staff: Ash, Rose, Joanne & Penistone ladies were my rock throughout my loss. I cannot express my gratitude during these last weeks. Thank you. Marvellous.
