Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

When booking my fathers funeral,I specifically asked for 45 minutes for the service as family members had prepared a timed service for that duration and we had to cut it short with the accompanying violinist.I was told by the funeral director on the day that we only had 30 minutes and 15 minutes outside.So this left us unfortunately feeling disappointed

the most wonderful staff, in our case Kerry was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble for her despite the constant obstacles we threw in her way, she kept me updated throughout and her advice was well informed and always available. a personal touch and always a smile given.... we were later joined by Angela who again was completely professional, courteous and patient throughout all the procedures. We as a family couldn't possibly find a negative word to say about our experience if we tried. Overall, an extremely positive experience thank you

I can honestly say that the service we received was so professional. Kerry was there every step of the way and any queries we had, she found a solution.

On the day of our Dad's funeral, Angela looked after us, by guiding us through the day, without a hitch.
