I should like to thank the staff for being so very helpful,friendly, never pushy, explaining everything and encouraging us to have the funeral which we wanted. My brother died in London but having no family nor friends there we wanted to bring him back to Sheffield. This was done with no fuss and the funeral service was just what we wanted. I would also add that the cost of the funeral was very fairly priced. I would recommend John Fairest, caring and professional.

We were extremely happy with the service we received, especially Claire who was excellent, kept us informed at all times and made sure everything ran smoothly up to and on the day of the funeral. Claire made a hard job a lot easier for us. She's a credit to the company.

I couldn't have asked for anything more. Mum's service was perfect in everyway possible. All the girls who I spoke with were wonderful, extremely empathetic to my loss and could not do enough to help. I visited mum a couple of times and she looked like mum too. I think all the staff are an absolute credit and I can't thank you all enough. From the bottom of my heart to you all.... xxxx

When we chose John Fairest we didn't realise it was part of the Co-op group.
After our relative died and was removed from the care home where she died we didn't hear from the funeral director at all. I phoned John Fairest number because I didn't know where her body was, this was quite distressing. We both had covid at the time so weren't feeling well & couldn't go out at all.

Really helpful and really patient with us on every level from my dithering decision making, making changes to everything - more than once or twice! And very supportive on the day when close members of the family were getting lost looking for the crematorium. Impeccably managed and conducted throughout - Many thanks to all involved.
