I was recommended Trevor and the team at I Did It My Way by a friend. The service that they provided was fantastic, everything went so smoothly on the day of the funeral and they guided me every step of the way which was exactly what I needed on such a difficult day 
I could not thank them enough for all the help they gave me and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future

The care and consideration for how as a family we were feeling was paramount on each visit and phone call , and remained that way throughout , they made sure that care was taken at all times , even ensuring that my dad who couldn’t attend the funeral of mum as he was too ill and in a nursing home, so they called on route to crematorium pulled up in the car park where dad was and let him say his goodbyes there , to me that was above and beyond what you would expect, it made our day and dads too knowing he had in away seen her off, he was very emotional and pleased at the same time. Can’t praise them enough . Thanks again to all the team from our family.

From the initial meeting to the final goodbye we are so grateful to Trevor and Savannah for helping to put together a beautiful service for a very special lady. Originally championed by a close friend of mine for their friendly, professional and supportive nature we were not disappointed, and for such a sad occasion we were undoubtedly appreciative of the sensitivity shown and willingness to go the extra mile. Trevor and the team could not be more helpful, with regular phone calls to keep me updated at all times. The funeral day could not have gone better. I cannot recommend I did it my highly enough.

After a difficult day, these funeral directors stepped in at the last minute. They were very apologetic for the circumstances another company had caused and were so professional on the whole experience. There care, compassion was absolutely above and beyond throughout the whole process of receiving a loved one until the returning of the Ashes. I can’t thank the whole team enough for their commitment in delivering this excellent service. I hope people will consider using this funeral directors as it’s the best one I’ve come across and I’ve used afew others in past years . They are a small team but absolutely amazing, above and beyond in what they do.  Thank you so much to you all and you now the 1st people I will be contacting if and when it’s next needed. Our entire experience with 'I did it my way' was really positive and fuss free,from the first phone call to Trevor right up to receiving Mum's ashes.

As soon as we met Trevor in person, he put us all at ease making organising everything seem straightforward and possible.

All the staff were really friendly and helpful in pointing out things to include in the service which we may not have thought about. This included a lovely booklet in which they included extra pictures on the back cover.

Everything was carried out in a professional caring manner and we were also provided with an out of hours contact number just in case we needed to discuss anything.

Our celebrant was Kate who was wonderful and helped us immensely to remember lots of facts and fun stories about Mum. She also suggested 'Your my best friend' as one of our song choices because Mum liked Freddie Mercury and Queen. We had a read through of the entire service which was really good for getting an idea of how we would feel on the day.

We were picked up from home on the day of the funeral and one of the staff walked in front of the cars for several yards which I thought was a nice touch.

Kate delivered a service which encompassed all of Mums humour, style, Warmth and love of life.
Kate also calmly rescued me as I had a bit of a wobble on the last line of my speech.

We were also given a complete copy of the entire service which was really good.

After the service Trevor and his assistant drove us down to the club where the wake was taking place and stood chatting to us for quite a while before saying farewell.

'I did it my way' were recommended to us by our cousin and another friend, I would totally recommend them they were very friendly, professional and a really fabulous team.

They were very professional and kept in touch with me  all the time. They  claim within half an hour of phoning them to collect my husband‘s body.. we could also go to the funeral directors to see my husband’s body in the coffin in the ear and I put some flowers on a eighth of us waved him off which was very very nice. They brought the ashes to me and everything was excellent thank you.

Trevor and his team handled my Father’s funeral in an extremely professional and yet personable manner. It was  important to us as a family to be able to communicate with someone that was kind, understanding and spoke to us on a personal friendly level. We were aware of I Did It My Way as they acted as Funeral Director for my father in law and my father in the past. Given the excellent service that they provided on those occasions we did not hesitate to contact them again to arrange my mothers funeral.

Trevor and his team are very professional, compassionate and patient and nothing was too much trouble. All the necessary arrangements were explained to us and they made sure that we were kept informed throughout.
On the day of the funeral everything went without a hitch and we are very grateful for the wonderful and very personal service written and delivered by Lucy.

Funeral Director "I Did It My Way" indeed as the name said. Trevor our funeral manager is a top guy, very understanding, and goes all his way out to help make things as smooth as possible.

I personally feel I have given my mother the best final journey I can, tailored to the way she wants; thanks to the help of Trevor, and his assistant Savannah (sorry if I got the spelling wrong).
