We have no complaints at all regarding the handling of Michael's funeral by yourselves.

The initial meeting to discuss the prospective arrangements was conducted very professionally and then on the day we were very well looked after especially as it took place on the hottest day of the year.
This does take into account the contribution made by the Celebrant Paul Maltby.

I found the statement " we shall have to do a credit check on you before we can proceed further" very insulting.

I have been in senior management for many years and have always checked the credit worthiness of my customers but I have never been so blunt as to tell them . Had I done so I doubt if they would continue to be customers.

5days after my partner died I had covid, so all arrangements had to made by phone, Rawlings staff were amazing . Bernard's clothes were picked up from my home, If anything needed to be discussed they rang me, they kept me updated with everything that was happening step by step, and then when I was clear they arranged for me to see Bernard. The day of the funeral they drove passed our home because I had promised Bernard he would come home. The service was just as I had wanted it, highly reccomend them .

I have no previous experience in arranging a funeral & was struggling to deal with my wife's death. I was treated with kindness & respect both at the Funeral Directors & the Crematorium. Everything was explained clearly & my questions were listened to. A lovely lady Celebrant was recommended, even a local shop to print the service leaflets. Both were engaged & did a great job too. At the service my family were guided by the Funeral Directors, who were very helpful & polite. Everybody wore a splash of colour, one of my wife's wishes. It was a lovely ceremony, as cheerful as you could wish for on such a sad occasion.

Rawlings staff were always thoughtful, calm and obliging as they guided us through the business of planning our mum’s funeral. They made our decision making as straightforward as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. The actual funeral went smoothly and was exactly what we requested. Knowing there was the backup of the Coop organisation behind the scenes of a local funeral director gave us the confidence we needed.
