A.W. Lymn funeral services arranged the funeral of our late mum, Mrs Sylvia Mary Morrell who sadly passed away in December 2022.

The professionalism, empathy and respect not only to the relatives in bereavement, but also for the deceased in the overall attention to detail of the whole services given was impeccable from start to finish. Every need and individual requirement was attended to, enabling you to give your relative the funeral they deserve.

Our thoughts and thankyou's go out to all personnel including those behind the scenes who you never meet. Special heartfelt thanks and credit for there services are Karen at the Sutton office who went out of her way to ensure you were looked after and Johnathan who guided us on the day from pick up until he dropped us off after the service.

We would also like to say a thankyou to the celebrant Katie Page who held the beautiful service ensuring every detail of our wishes was perfect, which it was.

A last and massive thankyou to you all.

The service provided by Jonathan and Karen was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble in making sure everything was as I wanted to be. Karen made Eileen look so at peace in the chapel of rest. The flowers were perfect. Johnathan was his normal calm unflappable self. Many thanks for making my day. John Wardle.

Firstly I would like to thank Karen at AW Lymn,Sutton in Ashfield for her guiding hand in arranging my husband's funeral. We received a first class service from the first time we visited Karen. The order of service that she produced was absolutely amazing.
I would also like to thank Karen for pairing us with Mark Andrew the celebrant, his service was absolutely perfect in paying our respects to my husband Rob,it showed a true portrayal of his life and sense of humour,we couldn't have wished for anything better, it made a very difficult day so much easier to bear.
The cars,flowers,drivers and pall bearers were second to none. First class service from beginning to end.

Karen ( Sutton in Ashfield ) was amazing from the beginning . She showed kindness , empathy and respect towards me . Very helpful and informative and kept me up to date with everything . 
We used Mark to read the Eulogy , recommend by Karen and again nothing but praise for him 
They made what is a horrible experience to deal with so much easier for me to arrange and deal with

Karen, Jonathan and the rest of the team from Lymns at Sutton were excellent.  The arrangements for the funeral were made professionally, with empathy and understanding.  The general advice offered helped to begin the process of dealing with the death of my wife was invaluable.  The funeral itself went perfectly with exactly the right amount of guidance and support being offered.

5 Stars are not enough. Karen could not have done more to help us through this very sad and difficult time, she went above and beyond. Every challenge I put to her, she came through with flying colours. She alone became a part of our grieving family . Anja, our Celebrant was more than Excellent. She made us cry and she made us laugh as she took us through the ''Celebration of my Dear wife Pat's Life'' No, 10 Stars is nearer the mark . A W Lymn (Sutton) provided an excellent, kind, conscientious service, supporting us all the way and made the process of funeral planning etc as easy as possible. At such a sad, difficult time it really helped to have such dedicated professionals by our sides. Generally the service from Lymm’s has been excellent. The reason for not giving the top grade is that I feel Lymm’ s should have saved me from getting upset by the attempt by Sandiacre parish council to charge an extra £150 for the hiring of a skip to remove excess soil when their  rules ( supplied by you) and signed by me when booking the burial plot, clearly state that excess soil would remain on site.

The whole process of arranging a funeral was made much easier by Lymns at Sutton. Karen was ever helpful and sympathetic through the whole process and communicated with us at each step of the way and she certainly went the extra mile. Everyone at Lymns were exceptionally professional and the comprehensive brochure was a great help when communicating with distant relatives. We felt that the help given lifted a lot of the weight from us at such a sad time. I would recommend using their services to anyone.

The service we received from Lymns was of a very high standard and professional at all times.

Karen was lovely in helping us arrange everything and patient. She was friendly, understanding and caring throughout the whole process. On the day of the funeral everything was exactly as we had wanted.

Adam Humphries whom held the service at the crematorium gave a thoughtful, personalised, moving and very well presented service. A big thank you goes to Adam for this too.

We were pleased with all aspects of the funeral on the day. It was a difficult day for sure, however a fitting tribute to Kath which made it special.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and use Lymns services again in the future.

A funeral plan for my father Jonathan was prepared with assistance of Karen at AW Lyman Sutton earlier this year, which was the best thing we did as my father made all his own choices for the eventual arrangements.
When he died , from initial contact with Karen at AW Lyman the whole funeral process  and arrangements  were excellently arranged with constant communications from Karen along the way.
On the day of the funeral everything went as smoothly as necessary without any issues .
Our whole family would like to thank Karen for her excellent care and professional assistance throughout.
