This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Every aspect of the funeral arrangements was handled professionally, promptly and sensitively. Advice at the beginning regarding a fee reduction for City residents was extremely useful as we were not aware of this. Order of service design, recommendation of celebrant, webcast and pro visual aspects all perfect. Cars, timings and organisation spot on. The only thing we would comment on for improvement is the need for more volume on the sound system within the Chapel at Wilford Hill as some mourners struggled to hear the service despite it being being a very small space. Whether this is down to the delivery by the celebrant or the loud speaker system not at adequate volume I can't say. Other than that all was excellent thank you

This was my first time arranging a funeral so I have nothing to compare with however I can say that it met all of my needs and more and I would have no hesitation in recommending Sherwood Funeralcare.
I was guided through the process, listened to and helped with choosing options where necessary. I never felt rushed or pressured and was given the time and opportunity to make changes where required
The day was lovely, exactly what I hoped for and Mum would have been proud.
