The arrangements went very well, I was grateful for Emily's help. I was also very grateful for some basic legal information I was given to me the day after my husband died, which relieved me of some worry at a very difficult time

Our experience of dealing with the staff at the Sherwood branch, although upsetting, was handled respectfully and efficiently.
Everyone was so kind, helpful and courteous.
Our Celebrant, Anja was fantastic. She is such a lovely lady and we thank her so much for her handling of the service, her words captured all that my Mum was. Everyone said that she spoke as if she knew my Mum which was lovely and so what we needed.

Everything worked very well and I was very satisfied except for 1 very important part of the arrangement, which was the recording of the service. I only found out by chance on the day of the funeral that it hadn't been arranged, which was stressful and I consider it a major error.

I and all of our family found the service which we received from ALL the staff in Sherwood quite excellent. Emily Cudworth, Voula Perez and Anna Freeman. They were caring, empathetic, practical and helpful in every way. None of us had been through this process before and as my husband had literally dropped down dead, we had no warning or preparation. One of our family was particularly traumatised and he was given warm and caring treatment. We were taken through the whole process gently and with no hurry. Everything was explained carefully and we all felt that we were listened to and there was time for us to discuss things. I also very much appreciated the opportunities that we had to visit my husband a number of times, which was particularly important given the circumstances. I would like to single our Anna Freeman particularly for her kindness and really gentle care of each one of us, not only before the Funeral, but particularly over the two days of the Funeral. Her care was outstanding and we are deeply grateful to her.

Everything went smoothly and  the ceremony was exactly in accordance with my wishes. All the staff members I met or spoke with were helpful and supportive. The costs of everything were fully explained and no-one tried to persuade me to incur greater expense than I thought  necessary.

As a family we couldn’t find anything we were disappointed with regarding our mothers funeral arrangements and service.We were treated with sympathy and respect regarding all our mothers wishes and our own in relation to the arrangements and service The service went as planned  Alison Knox the celebrant was excellent,finally one of our relatives arrived from her journey late due to travel issues and with having no transport of her own the funeral director Cherie allowed her to travel in the limousine to the gathering after the service which was very much appreciated .

The Co-op team were excellent: professional but personable and approachable throughout. At such a difficult time I felt I could rely on them and that things were always in hand. I felt able to contact them at any point if I was unsure about anything, and they contacted me in a timely manner when they had information to pass on or update me with. 

From the initial arrangements to the funeral service itself I felt I was in good hands and it seems clear to me that all of the team - Emily, Cherie and Voula - bring a lot to the work that they do. I'm in no doubt that getting in touch with the Co-op was absolutely the right choice and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.

The service was perfect and well organised and the celebrate was fantastic i will never forget  how moving it was for myself and the family
