'The Attended Funeral' includes the following:

Professional services
Completion of necessary paperwork
Transfer of deceased into our care at any time of the day or night within a 15 mile radius of our premises
Care of the deceased
A simple coffin suitable for burial or cremation
Provision of a simple cream dressing gown
Provision of a Hearse
Provision of a conductor and up to three members of staff to convey the coffin into the place of service using a wheeled bier, or to assist family bearers
Collection of cremated remains from the crematorium and retention on our premises prior to collection by our client
Date and time of the funeral at our discretion
Preparation of deceased (excluding embalming) and provision of viewing facilities if appropriate

About Us

Gillotts Funeral Directors are an independent family funeral director in Selston. They offer professional and compassionate funeral services to families in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, although they will cover almost any area on request.

The Selston funeral home is the newest of Gillotts' five funeral homes, having been opened in May 2016. The home is based in the old police house in Selston, occupying an easily accessible space in the heart of the town. The business as a whole can trace its origins back to the Victorian era, and over the years has remained an independent family funeral directors, which is now managed by its partners who are all involved in the day to day running of the business.

The Selston funeral home is managed by Danni, who has been a Funeral Arranger at the Selston office since it opened. She has completed her Diploma in Funeral Arranging and is now studying for her Diploma in Funeral Directing.

Gillotts Funeral Directors has its own fleet of modern and reliable Jaguar hearses and limousines, ensuring that you can travel with dignity and comfort to the funeral.

From the first phone call through to the day of the funeral the staff (in particular Danni) were very professional, empathetic, kind, understanding and nothing was too much trouble.
Danni made a very difficult time a little easier to bear knowing that she had our family's best interests at heart.
